The Perfect Vacation Spot

Tucked away in the heart of the Cariboo region in beautiful British Columbia, Tall Timbers Resort is nestled on the peaceful south shores of Watch Lake.

Escape the ordinary

The Watch Lake area is a land rich in history, wide open spaces and abundant wildlife. Approximately one third of the lakes shorelines are dotted with residential properties, leaving the other two thirds for wildlife.

The lake is 3.5 miles long and is stocked with 40,000 rainbow trout annually. Having a speed limit restriction of only 8km/hr assures not having to worry about the wake of a speed boat or sea-doo, making Watch Lake a great lake for row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and float tubes.

A Holiday to Remember

While fishing or just touring the lake you will see amazing birds such as bald eagles, egrets, herons, Canada geese, osprey and hawks just to name a few. You may also have a little fishing competition with the loons that nest along the shorelines of the lake.
